Approach
My training and extensive work with families support me to think with clients about foundational relationships and experiences and how those influence current relational patterns and inner life. Clients say my sessions are collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental. Overall, my approach is based on forging deep connections through the therapeutic relationship. While my sessions are primarily grounded in traditional talk therapy, I also integrate approaches from systems thinking and tools from mindfulness. I believe therapy should feel supportive and playful, where the client and therapist can think creatively about one’s experiences and ideas in a way that ultimately helps the client understand more about the self.
